The Remover of Obstacles - Lord of Beginnings
Lord Ganesha, also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka, is one of the most worshipped deities in Hinduism. He is the elephant-headed god of beginnings, wisdom, and the remover of obstacles. Ganesha is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Before any new undertaking, Hindus pray to Ganesha first. He is invoked at the beginning of all religious ceremonies, the start of new ventures, and before any important work.
